Brandy and Monica – It all belongs to me
I’ve always said that Brandy and Monica needed to go back into the studio to record another smash and it seems like someone, somewhere answered my prayers! The 90’s RnB starlets who dominated the charts almost fourteen years ago with the global hit ‘The Boy is Mine’ have reunited on ‘It all belongs to me’, written and produced by Rico Love. This time, these grown and sexy ladies have joined forces to kick their no good men to the curb making it clear that they leave their belongings right where they found them...go ‘head ladies! Take a Listen.
Loaded Sista are the UK girl band to smash the industry in 2011. Made up of founding member Technicolor talent Keisha Rodney, the blonde belter Salli Alexander, the Bluesy babe Siobhan Hesketh and the Sassy Roveina Mitchell, they are the first female group to write, produce and independently release their own music to the masses. With their heavy beats, raps and soulful vocals these girls are serious contenders. Their first single drops this summer, so check out their video on MTV Base and get ready for the Loaded Sista phenomenon.
Streetlife radio is supporting ‘Get Up Stand up’ an event designed to turn ‘young people into leaders through the arts’.
Organised by Dr Nathalie Teitler
Dr Nathalie Teitler is someone who has a true passion for the arts and young people. After this year’s London riots Nathalie felt that there was more talk than action that yes the riots were wrong but there weren’t any solutions to the problem and yet again young people’s views were not heard. Having grown up in Argentina and experienced the benefits that the arts have she feel that there is a lack of arts in the UK. Countries such as Brazil and many counties in African have managed to research what some would call the unreachable.
Streetlife radio along with a number of organisations that engage with young people are here today to put young people first sharing their knowledge and skills to enhance the great things that they already do.
